Authorship and responsibility
The same person writes and proofreads the texts. There is always someone answerable for each statement on the site.

How facts are checked
Any figure in the text can be traced back to the document it came from. If a statement cannot be verified, it does not go into the text.
How errors are corrected
We take reports from readers on any piece. Every edit made is visible on the page — by its date and a note on what it covered.
