We don’t have school tomorrow, so today is kinda like a Friday. Jacob, Grant, and I are going to see 2012 on Friday.

It should be pretty freaking awesome. It’s from the same makers of Independence Day and The Day After Tomorrow, and it’s all about a postapocalyptic world.

Can’t wait for that. I’ll definitely be bringing you a complete review of the movie when I come home, so be ready for that.

That makes a lot of sense because I love technology and audio-video junk, and I hate health science and politics. Someone in our class got Waste Management as their top career, so we had a good time laughing.

What do you want to be when you grow up?

My social studies teacher is one of the kinds of people who has lived long enough to know every ‘good ol day’ slang term. Everyday we catch on to new words and phrases spewed from her vast vocabulary and are silently tempted to figure out their meanings. Today’s phrase just happened to be diddly-squat.

Diddly-Squat: A small or worthless amount.
“That isn’t worth diddly-squat!“

Now say it with me, diddly squat. Do pickles come to mind? Something about that word makes me think of pickles.

And now for something completely different, Cyanide and Happiness.

Cyanide and Happiness is an online webcomic created and maintained by five authors (kinda like The Panic Button) and hosted on Explosm. It started in 2005 and has come out with daily strips since then. It’s the most popular webcomic on the internet, attaining over a million daily views. Cyanide and Happiness is probably most enjoyable because of it’s crudely drawn characters and ironic puns. Check out some of my favorites.

Who’s your favorite teacher? What do they do that makes them your favorite?

Well, with all the phishing Spam on Twitter recently, I got rather annoyed. Some visitors of the site kept sending me messages saying “Are you here? *link*”, “Why are you here? *link*” Getting multiple texts throughout the day from Twitter isn’t very fun. I just ignored most of the texts and went on with my business. Then more recently, I got one of these messages from Sam’s account. Thinking that it was more important now, I clicked the link in the message.

The first warning I should have noticed, was Firefox’s “Web of Trust” addon spazzing at me. Google Chrome suspected phishing (smart Google, no?) But hey, they message was from Sam, and it had to be safe. Being the idiot I was, I put my Twitter info into it, and not thinking much of it, left for my band concert.

When I got back, I checked my Twitter, and it showed that I had sent out 33 messages from when I was gone. After reading Sam’s warning of “Don’t do it!” and Twitter’s spam reporter reported phishing, I knew I had messed up.

“Crap.”

So, instead of waiting for the problem to be fixed, my impatient self decided that I didn’t want my Twitter to send out more false messages to people. So I deleted it.

Poof. It’s gone.

But no worries. I made a new one. My new Twitter can be found here or by finding “OmgPablo” on Twitter.

So that’s the end of my rant. Don’t click links that look suspicious, don’t get into the old man’s car that says he has candy, yada dah, you’ve all heard it before. Just stay safe.

Has anyone heard of Parkour? My cousin showed me tons of videos on YouTube where people are doing it. Parkour or FreeRunning is an activity in which participants run along a route, attempting to negotiate obstacles in the most efficient way possible, as if moving in an emergency situation, using skills such as jumping and climbing, or the more specific parkour moves.

Parkour looks really cool if you can do it right, but can be very dangerous if done wrong. Check out these sweet videos.

I want to say thank you to everyone who participated in the chat. We had the most people on it that we’ve ever had, 16.

I have grown up without any brothers, and sometimes I really wish I had one. Then I thought about it, and realized that Jacob, Seth, and Grant are sort of like brothers to me. My life has changed quite a lot because of The Panic Button.

• Because of The Panic Button, I met Seth and we became best friends. Seth, Grant, Jacob, and I have become closer.
• Because of The Panic Button, I learned a lot about the internet.
• Because of The Panic Button, I learned that you can’t always trust people, and if an email seems fishy, just ignore it.
• Because of The Panic Button, I get compliments almost everyday about it.
• Because of The Panic Button, I learned how to make impressive computer graphics. Every time I’ve done a poster for school on the computer, I’ve gotten 100%.
• Because of The Panic Button, I have basic knowledge over the art of persuasion. I know what people my age like to hear, see, do, and learn.
• Because of The Panic Button, I learned how to create and maintain a popular blog/website.
• Because of The Panic Button, my social life has drastically improved.
• Because of The Panic Button, I’ve seen almost every popular funny picture on the internet, and my humor has improved.
• Because of The Panic Button, my typing has become faster.
• Because of The Panic Button, my vocabulary has expanded and my literacy has improved.
• Because of The Panic Button, my self esteem has improved and I am almost always optimistic.
• Because of The Panic Button, even when there’s nothing to do, I can always blog.

So don’t let anyone tell you blogging is stupid or a waste of time.
